A renowned and legendary tennis player tested positive for HIV from a contaminated blood transfusion that he received during his heart bypass surgery. His fans from all over the world were very sad to hear the news and he received millions of "get well soon" letters and cards from them. One of the letters read: "It is very sad to know about what has happened to you. Why did God allow this to happen to you?"

The tennis player wrote a reply to this fan saying, "Millions of children begin to play tennis. Hundreds of thousands of these children learn to play proper tennis. Tens of thousands of them would learn professional tennis. Only thousands of them go to tennis tournaments around the world. Some five thousand of them make it to Grand Slam and around one hundred make it to Wimbledon and just four make it to the semi-finals and only two of them to the finals and only ONE of them wins and I was that ONE out of millions of people around the world. When I was holding the Wimbledon Championship Trophy, I never asked God, "Why Me?" So I have no right to ask God, "Why Me?" now during my times of hardship."

Is it not true that a human being often forgets God during times of happiness? Whenever a person achieves something in his life, he attributes it to himself, his hard work, and support from his family and friends, and forgets to thank God. But the same person who takes credit for every achievement in his life starts blaming God for his misfortune.

People usually tend to forget God during their good times and such people only become aware of God if something goes wrong with them. Let's never forget God in our good times. If we are going through bad times, let's thank God even more as our times could have been worse.
